Feb. 22        09:00 Meeting at the Matterhornbahnen. A demonstration of rescue in avalanches was organized by the Guides of Zermatt and the Aosata valley, under the supervision of Bruno Jelk. Summer       Raclette at Edelweiss

Dec. 30       General Assembly at the Pollux. We are 81 members and 28 spouse members. 73 Guides are insured by the Club. It is decided that in future, we will hold a General Assembly every year. We are still trying to obtain from the Canton du Valais a tax exemption for our Club. The creation of a pension fund for the Guides is anew discussed. We think of supporting 10-15 % of the premiums of life insurance suscribed by the Guides themselves. The creation of a Junior section is rejected.
